Intro to Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) for OCD
This introductory training on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for OCD is designed to help mental health providers gain insight into the specialized techniques required to effectively treat OCD.
Mental health professionals will come away from this training with an understanding of what ERP is, how it differs from traditional talk therapy, why specialized training is important, and how to communicate this with clients who may have OCD.
It also offers an opportunity to explore ERP and its foundational concepts before committing to more advanced training or consultation in this evidence-based approach. This training serves as an introduction to ERP rather than a comprehensive course. Additional training is necessary to achieve competency in ERP.
